It's no secret that everyone knows ISIS in particular relations with Turkey (oil sales for example) they have a common border of several hundred km. What is amazing is to see the assassin's face strutting soldiers who are (in principle) of NATO. And frankly this is where it becomes unbearable

In every war there's talking between camps...especially on front line.
f.e.2ndWW and christmas talking, afghan fighters during the two wars in afghanistan, Yougoslavian conflict (watch the movie No Man's Land, its totally on topic and its a good movie)
The guys saw each other each days in their scope. they don't fight 24/7 and sometimes they talk...that does'nt mean that 1h later they won't fire at each others.

In WW1 , troops during the holiday truce got together and exchanged gifts. They even played soccer matches. The tunnel diggers would often hear enemy tunnel diggers and warn them of the time they were going to destroy the Enemies mine, giving time for them to escape.

In other words, what Sarg said.
