How bout a another section of the fourm that's for locked threads or threads that have lost their use? They'll be moved to the new section (the litterbox) to clean up the other catagolies but will still be there for any sort of refrence.

Locked threads will generally move off the first page in their own good time. By moving all locked threads to a single "recycle bin" it would be impossible to actually find a thread to refer to, as the list would grow too large
