In China, a glass bridge, burst underfoot tourists.
Recently opened in China's glass bridge had already burst, greatly frightened tourists passing through it. Glass bridge was built at an altitude of 3,500 feet above the canyon in central China, skirting the mountain in a U-shape.
Glass base of the bridge 1,300 feet long stretched along the mountain Yongtai in the Chinese province of the Canaanites. Passage is currently closed for repairs after a group of double-glazed windows along the passage covered with numerous cracks. The incident was caused by a sharp object that had fallen on the glass, according to the Tourism Administration Mountain Yongtai. The bridge is made of three-ply glass, and just burst its main layer.
Park officials claim that the bursting of glass "does not affect the safety", although many tourists and the media did not agree. People believe that the officials played down the seriousness of the incident. Officials noted that such incidents occurred in the other structures with a glass floor, as the Tower Bridge in London and the Willis Tower in Chicago.
