Maximizing graphics performance on Macbook pro

Hello,

I have a Macbook Pro 2008 with a GeForce 9600M GPU.

It is not great.

I am wondering how to maximize its performance on games. I am willing to overclock. I am willing to sit my macbook pro on top of ice packs to play games at higher resolution.

Also, I am saving up for a desktop.

But what to do til then? How do I maximize the graphics on this little gpu? I am sure this will be of benefit to the other people using MBP's, as well.

That gpu has such small fill rates that there really isn' much you can do but get a new computer with games in mind.

Not really helpful, but man, GeForce 9600M. That's a name no one has seen in a long time.
