Oh, how I love my mac. So wonderful, so amazing... so USELESS when it comes to gaming:break:
I finally crack down and buy the Witcher 2, and of course, even on completely lowest settings possible, its running like 10 frames per second. Of course. 20 dollars, gone.

In light of this rather tragic shortcoming, I have now bought the first Witcher game in hopes of it working :D crossin my fingers, here...

I dont think systemrequirement works for Mac. And dude, didnt you pay attention to the Steam Sale? Witcher 2 Best edition was like 4$ (3.74$ if you want to be exact)

You could also try :pirate: games just to test them out on your system. Not sure if this link works with a mac (not sure why it wouldn't) but it should be of some help.

Guys, do this more often. Saves you a lot of trouble and heartache. And money as well.

:yuno: install Win7 on bootcamp? If you need Win7 give me a holler.

Thanks, but Ima keep my OSX. literally everything about it I love, EXCEPT for this one little issue: the games. Everything else it does is so perfect. So Ima continue to use it for various multimedia purposes, and play the games I do have available (cod4 being one of them :D)

Its just a shame that I couldnt demo the game or something to make sure it worked (though I shouldve known better, cuzz witcher 2 was made in like 2011, and my macbook is 2009)

I know nothing of MAC's, but I'm pretty sure bootcamp is something that allows dual booting. Meaning, you can have windows 7 AND mac OSX. When you want to game, boot into w7. I'm not sure if you have to reboot the computer and select which OS to boot into like i have to on Windows or if you can just switch it over.
