Sony has stuffed things up and has left some consoles bricked..

The article says they have pulled the update.

My PS3 hasn't been on in months. I'll turn it on and see if it offers it.

It said i needed some kind of update, but I'm not sure if it's this new one or one from a few months ago...

For those of you with a bricked PS3, you can still boot the console into Safe Mode, which will let you grab the update fix when it arrives.

Weird. I upgraded to that update and my ps3 is still working. I must be lucky or something
