My CoD4 issue...CRASH

Okay, so when i open my CoD4 everything runs fine. Just until i press "Join Game" then it just crashes? I need help, and im on Mac. What do I do for this problem?

I don't have the disc... anyway i have a gaming PC.. i just only have CoD4 on meh mac!

well you can try manually joining games by typing in console: /connect IP (type server ip) or hit shift+~ and check for errors

try turn all your settings down...almost everything off...
