Changes to Server 1 - VOTE NOW!!

OK, there has been talk of tweaking the gametype rotation on S1 (24/7 Broadcast)

It will still be 24/7 BC but instead of FFA all the time the suggestion is to throw in a TDM every xth round.

The question is how many rounds of FFA to each round of TDM?

I'd lijke toi see the airport map added to the starwars server.. Make that server our "special" one.

TDM is great BUT teams can get lopsided. Is there anyway to take away the Option on what team to join and just make it auto-assign?

Why are you two talking about S8, this post is about S1 and has nothing to do with S8. I voted every 3 rounds, but I still don't think it's really a good idea and hope we don't regret doing it.

awww blu you're just afraid of taking risks. I will say that three is the best choice because if there is as few as one or two rounds, people might start getting annoyed that it's no longer an FFA server. On the flip side though, if there are as many as five rounds in between, many people won't even see it considering that many just play for a round or so. I think three gets the best of both worlds.

server 4 is pretty much what u want server 1 to be it switchs from ffa to tdm and its broadcast map to

S4 switches every round between TDM and FFA. Seeing as how S1 is our most popular, and people sometimes getting tired of pure FFA. I made S4 the way it is because I thought it might get used up the way it is on S1.

Adding TDM to S1 might be a small break that everyone needs from time to time.

Why not just run another server with 24/7 Broadcast FFA x 3 then 1 x TDM? This way the ppl that like Broadcast 24/7 Broadcast FFA (s1) are not affected.

I voted 3 because most people that go there go to play FFA and that's it. Plus that's what they are used too. But I do like the idea of adding TDM every few rounds. I think it would be kind of exciting to have something different every few games. IMO it's certainly worth a try. If people don't like it we can always change it back

You can set team balance to "on", then if the teams get lopsided it will balance them.
