I have the g500 and it's been awesome for me- I doubt I could handle anything more complicated haha

I have the MX 518. I still suck at games. Might sue.
I used to have it, absolutely amazing for the price. My only complaints were a moderately rough glide(didn't notice until I got really expensive mouse.. so never complained really) and a flimsy scrollwheel.

Still an amazing mouse though :3

Also, I've heard amazing things about the g700 if you're interested in a wireless mouse. And I've yet to hear a real complaint about the g500.

I had the G500 and ended up sending it back to Newegg to replace it with the MX518, the G500 had problems with the arrow on the screen jumping around, it would move without the mouse even moving lol. At first I thought it was Windows but it did the same thing on Linux as well.

The G400 looks pretty good but some of the reviews I didn't like, mainly the flimsy wire they come with now compared to the MX518, other than that I would probably buy one lol.

Thankfully I've never had that issue. Then again I was lucky enough to get my g500 for free and for that price I couldn't have asked for a better mouse.

Sounds like a cloth mouse pad. Either that, or some sort of dirt in the laser.
