Ghost Stories :O!

I'm just curious if anyone here has ever seen, or thought they saw, a ghost, or a spirit, or what ever you may call it.
If so what happened, and do you believe in ghosts?

One time I was brushing my teeth to get ready for bed and I heard a voice say "Can you hear me?" (TWICE)
I thought it was my sister so I replied "Yeah." but a half-second later I remembered I was the only person home at the time.

I ran outside with my dogs and stayed their until my brother came home. I was scared out of my wits!! D:

So I do believe in ghosts, and it'd be cool if you guys could share your ghost stories if you ever had one

I do believe in ghosts/spirits though probably not in the traditional sense that the average person believes in them. Within the past year I was taking a shower and crying over missing my grandpa. I was wondering if he'd be proud of me thinking that he wouldn't and that I am letting his memory down. When I got out of the shower, the sink faucet was on and running. I'm 99% sure I didn't touch it but perhaps it was just a weak moment and I wanted to interpret it to mean something. I really can't say. I do think that *if* they are real, you have to be open to them or vulnerable- I am not. I'm a *closed door*. Never had an interest in Ouija boards or any of that nonsense because quite frankly it scares the crap out of me. For every possible good spirit there would be a balance of bad ones and ain't nobody got time for that.

I should also add that I love supernatural/paranormal type stuff but strictly in the entertainment sense. The Skeleton Key scarred me for life.

Firstly I would like to say that I have never seen anything that would suggest spirits etc. exist. I have also watched every 'scary' film out there, and I am yet to find any that particularly disturb me. Is it worrying that I enjoy them ...? I am extremely sceptical of magic and spirits in general, preferring rational explanations. But on the other hand I must believe in them, at least at the subconscious level, otherwise I would not be worried about being in the dark/alone. I sometimes force myself to walk in pitch black, pretending to myself that it doesn't freak me out, but my rapid heart rate says different. Yes, I am 22, and still slightly afraid of the dark. Word.

On another note, those Gost hunting shows are (i) hilarious (ii) full of people who are thick as s*** (iii) unbelievably bad. I can't decide whether they are genuinely made in the hope that people will take them seriously, or whether they are made merely for entertainment.

I can relate/ agree completely. I love horror movies and always looking for one that will actually scare me. i never had a ghost experience but i dont think i would want one if ghosts/ spirits did exist. I still see the possibility of them existing , which is why i have to assure myself that they dont exist when im in the dark and my mind begins wandering.
I have friends who want actual proof of ghosts and spirits so they mess with the ouija board and stuff when they're drunk but f*#k that. Those things should be left alone if they did exist.

Ghost adventures is such a stupid show, but I can't stop myself from watching it when it's on

Super Natural is also a fun ghost series, and Paranormal Witnesses too~
