Steel's Haiti Trip

So as some of you know I took a trip to Haiti over new years. Me and my brother headed it up with some US doctors and nurses. My brother worked on some water systems and I did the Medical side. There were 22 people in all. I was excited and nervous at the same time because I had never lead a team before. I have been on many teams and I lived there for two years as well so I do have some experience. Anyhow we over the course of our time there were able to see 750 people. And provide them with medications for w/e was ailing them. Some things we were not able to treat out in the middle of no where. So we had to send them on a tap tap (what they call a bus or in their case a big truck that they pile things in then stick the people on top) to the closest trustworthy hospital. Anyways it was an amazing trip and thank God everything worked out without too many hiccups. Enjoy :)

that's pretty admirable of you and your brother steel. Those Haitian children and families that were given medical treatment and supplies will be extremely grateful for you and your teams generosity for improving their quality of life. It's funny what we take for granted what impoverished nations lack such as adequate food, water, and medical care. We need more people in this world that reaches out to those in need.

Thanks buddy:). And you are totally right with the things people take for granted. If the Haitian people just had nutritious good food and water out there it would solve 90% or their problems.
