ps4 specs are 8GB ram ,10 core cpu,x86 architecture possibly mouse/kb support..

more than anything I'm hoping this means games will be designed aimed at pc level performance so when they get released for pc they will just as awesome..more Crysis level games plox!..

Dunno if i'm going to get one, depends if these games come out on pc or not the Bungie one probably won't but the Killzone might not sure yet but if anyone reads something post please..

8 core cpu actually.

I couldn't ever see myself spending the money for one when i already have a pc that will always outperform it and can be continually upgraded for far less money than the accumulated cost of Ps4 games and the unit itself. And if it's not backwards compatible, one might need to re-buy tons of games etc unless you want two consoles hooked up. Unless i was really, really into games that are console specific like Killzone, Madden ( which sucks now), other sports games, racing etc. , i couldn't ever justify the cost. But in fairness I'm not a console guy. I haven't turned my ps3 on in months.

For those people who like consoles and don't put all their money into PC's, it looks like a nice unit. Probably cost a shitload though.

I do hope the unfortanate amount of crappy console ports do get much better however. Thankfully Crysis 3 didn't do this and made a cutting edge game.

It's about time they added a decent amount of RAM, and even by today's standard, 8 GB isn't that big anymore :K It will be interesting to see what can be done with x86, maybe hack it and put Windows on it lol.

True Dee,i haven't used my ps3 really for anything but the blu-ray since building a pc..I'm more excited because the game devs will be making games on a higher level...it'll be interesting to see if the games are compatible. One new technology they were talking about is sharing, something like you can have multiple ppl involved in one gameplay, like you can hand off the controls to someone else ingame, also a small thing but you can suspend the game without having to reboot the whole machine and start the game again ,a suspend mode when you turn it off.Useful i guess on SP campaigns. I'm really hoping Destiny comes out on PC....

there have been reports both ways but we shall see how it pans out..
