Hi Guys,

I've just had permission from DamageINC to upload the new KKK Minecraft website.
This will give us the opportunity to advertise the server once it has a fixed IP.

I've asked a few of you guys if you would prefer a more populated server, and the majority voted yes. Therefore I will do everything I can to advertise the server and increase the population.

After research it seems WaLLy puts a lot of money into KKK so I will speak to Minecraft admins about setting up in game donations so KKK can be better funded, DamageINC believes this would be a good idea.

What I need from you guys:

In order to advertise I need to know a little more about the server, so if you have anything to do with the server please please reply.

Which are you? Mod/ Admin/ Player/ Other (please state)

What is your IGN?

How many hours a week on average do you play?

What is your role on the server?

Do you have contact info that you would allow players to contact you on?

I'm not sure what i am. I have "OP" powers ( not sure what that even stands for). Overpowered? I don't know. I don't know how to kick, ban or enforce rules, although i might have the power to do so ( not sure ). If we are to get serious about this server, we, or at least i, need to learn much more about how to admin the site.

I don't do IGN. Not even sure what means. I know IGN is a game site, but nothing beyond that.

My hours vary. I haven't been playing much the last few days. Other days i may play a few hours. I can't really give an accurate avg since my hours are prone to change drastically.

No idea on the plugins. I've only been playing Mincraft for a month, at most.

Don't know about mods.

Players can contact me via PM.

In summary, i really don't know much at all about MC. I'm still learning how to do some things and still very green. I just go on and build/help people.


I just saw the website, looks great. Nice job. I'm happy to help in anyway so don't hesitate to ask.

The MC server's IP wont be changing that soon, as far as I can see. My ISP changes it once every 6-12 months. However, the next IP change should be when I move to Arizona and that's anywhere from 1-4 months from now. The wife and I are still debating on this.

As far as the website, I would stray away from asking for donations there. MC doesn't bring me or the Krew an extra cost so I wouldn't feel comfortable about it. Once I'm in Arizona, I will be looking at getting another dedicated PC/Mac and possibly a faster connection. I would then ask for help but other than that, I would like donations to be kept in-house.

I'm mostly in the forum (especially on the weekends), so the shoutbox is probably an easier way to get a hold of me.

BukkitServer = 1.4.7
WorldEdit = This is probably gonna get removed.
LoginSecurity = Plugin to password protect your account in our server.
GriefPrevention = Setup zones to protect what you build. You need a golden shovel to resize the zone. Place a chest and it'll place a zone around it automatically.
SecureChests = Lock your own chests and give access to those that you trust. Only OP's can bypass if they ever decide to do so. GriefPrevention goes an extra mile by protecting them from the get-go. This plugin isn't that useful now that we have GriefPrevention.
PermissionsBukkit = Kreubs knows more about it than I do
AntiCheat = Used to check for cheaters/hackers. Which actually causes more of a nuisance than being of a help. I'll have to replace this one sometime if I could find the right feature.

Not sure what this question might mean.

By reset, if you mean a complete wipe of the creations, I'm not sure folks will want that. I'm open to it though.

I wouldn't really be up for a map reset, but rather adding extra worlds with a dual-world plugin, as long as they aren't too taxing.

Ok guys....I've just done a full rework of the website and am currently working on finishing a bit of the digita media.....like photos and videos on the home page. I need to speak to Wally about a certain plugin as it would make it really easy for Operators and players to see minecraft from their phone and run commands. On the website, if you have anything to do with minecraft, please register...this is just to see the full content as much is hidden. Before you can register you will need to click on invite code at the top and i will be as quick as i can at emailing them out. This is just s precaution to make sure no idiots join and can access the server from the website.

Wally if you could register and look at the In Game Chat tab and tell me what you think then that would be great.

How do I register? The only button I can see is 'Vote' plus there are krewgamin.com/register and FB and some other links... I've voted btw... :)
