Didn't know about the Vista cut off but I figured with XP it would. I have SP3 and have for a year or so now, so I'm good until they cut it all off completely for XP :(

Yea Wally thanks for this. I have vista 64 bit with sp1, and have been putting off updating to sp2. Ill give it a go now.
 
Yeah that sucks that they're ending the updates for XP. That's probably the best version of windows that's been made IMO. I have Vista now but I also have SP2 so I should be good. :)

Why not? Are you using a "hacked" version of windows, LOL, that's the only reason I can think of why I wouldn't use them :P
 
My admin machine has SP3 on it, but auto updates is disabled.

My games machine has SP2 with the guts stripped out of it. No other programs but games. No services running that games don't need.

It's a corporate XP Pro install. Cough, hack, cough.
