So today i spent in a hospital waiting room while my dad was in surgery....there was a cute girl there waiting for her mom...after a while we got to talking and check this out....her mom,in her 60's had been born deaf and she was getting the second of two implants put in that allow her to hear for the first time in her life...how fucking awesome is that? Can you imagine hearing music for the first time? or wind,or your childs voice?
Sometimes we take for granted the fact that we walk around in life with all of our senses and limbs,or the fact that we exist at all..I just thought,what an incredible moment that must have been..

thats pretty crazy, i bet her mother and her are going to share some great tears together...i can't imagine life without sound/sight, it must be quite an experience.

Nice one Eth,I have great respect for my sister,she takes care of special needs babies for the state, a lot of them are in bad shape when she gets them,from drug abusing mom's etc.Another thing that just makes me appreciate things I often forget to notice.
