photo and video editing pc specs

just looking for your thoughts on this spec for a video and photo editing pc as ive just bought myself a DSLR camera and need something to edit photos on, also looking to buy a video camera soon as well

this wont be built until i manage to get time to finsh my on going projects but im just looking to work out parts at this stage so if anyone has any input feel free.

Personally, I would go with a i7-3770K, Z77 mobo, single GTX 670/680 and 32Gb of RAM.

Personally...for photo/video Editing...even if i can't work with that...i would buy a mac

He can just make a hackintosh.... Macs are overpriced imo. And yeah... 32gb ram would be better suited to that rig

i had been looking at the LGA2011 3930K CPU and a Gigabyte GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI which is another option

Personally...for photo/video Editing...even if i can't work with that...i would buy a mac

Personally, I would go with a i7-3770K, Z77 mobo, single GTX 670/680 and 32Gb of RAM.

The problem with the i7 in this case is that it doesn't have a triple-channel memory controller.
