a1 Auto Msg Suggestion

I think it would be nice if on a1 there was an automated message that said "All weapons and perks allowed at all times" or something of that nature. I understand that some folks will do gentlemans agreements before the start of the next round to do only pistols/bolts/knives if there are only few around. They can be fun, but it happens so often that anyone joining in during it will get discouraged or will be confused about the actual rules. It is even worse when people (even krew members) hound at others for not joining their 1 round weapon rule.

Too many times I've seen people leave because they don't want to join in or were unsure if it was a weapons free server. I would also like to encourage people to say "we are doing bolts if you would like to join soandso" instead of "bolts only soandso". Even better if you don't say anything at all and let the server grow instead of scaring people off.

Yeah, I have seen this a lot in the past but, I thought we had already addressed this in another thread awhile back and after that I haven't seen it as much. I totally agree however because one of the most asked questions is what perks and guns are allowed.

On a serious note, most of our mods don't allow a krewmember to "hound" anyone for not abiding by any rule that isn't explicitly written out in our rules section. I know I've called people out on it b4. Feel free to report anyone who tries to enforce non-existent rules on our servers.

Whenever I update Echelon this can actually be done. It's a "greeting" feature. But it gets rather boring after a while. And if I add it to the console spam right now, it'll get old fairly quickly as well.

I've mentioned it before, no other servers will get spammed in the console until S1 is back to our old playing days - rank 100 or better. We're almost there, let's make the push!

No. There are messages about TS3 server, 'this server is sponsored by awesome ppl' and 'join us @'
would be cool to add 'no SCing' and 'its a wep-free server'

Need to add no spawncamp message then, imo. Not fair to some players if they get kicked w/o warning if they didn't know about the rule.

Lol I think everybody understands that it's kinda 'bad' to SC
I was going to SC when I just found s1 but I just killed a few ppl but I was like 'fuck it, I dont wanna get banned from here' (without any warnings and any messages that it's not allowed)

I have personally spent much time explaining that the server allows camping but not spawn camping to several people. When they learn that camping is legal, they take that to mean SC'ing is as well, or others begin yelling YOU ALLOW SC? etc etc

I think a message with something that says All Weaps & Perks Allowed , Camping OK but NO SC'ing would help for sure.
