guys I just wanna say that out of all the anime out there Code Geass is my personal favorite, and I suggest it to all of you guys. here is the summery of the plot...

Lelouch Lamperouge, is an intelligent exiled Britannian prince who was sent as a bargaining tool to Japan, along with his sister Nunnally Lamperouge, by his father, Emperor Charles, after his mother, was murdered. When she was murdered, Nunally lost her sight and her ability to walk. After the war in the ruins of a Japanese city he then vows to his Japanese friend, Suzaku Kururugi, that he will one day obliterate Britannia.

Agree Code Geass is great. If u are minimaly interested in anime/manga/(hentai) lol, u should defo try and wacth it. If not, avoid throwing hate out. (Yea, that goes to u 2 Rival.)

ok well there, I changed the summery. Those of you who have read it already, sry, those who havn't WATCH THE ANIME!
it's a sci-fi, mecha, superpower anime

The story is very inmersive, u might think being an anime its childlish (and it actualy its at some points) but the majority of time its like a sci-fi serie with a thriling story line and very well made characters. The plot keeps getting twisted and as the story progresses the conflict becomes bigger and more exciting to wacth. The ends of both seasons are remarkably well done and it gives u something to think about for a while. I would also recommend to wacth it in original sound (japanese) and english subs. English dubs arent very good normaly however the original jap voice acting is really good and the subs dont ruin the experience.

My favorite anime? Rosario+Vampire. Currently I'm watching Witchblade and reading Rosario+Vampire manga....ugh so much to watch and do. To think an anime would top DBZ for me...it definitely happened

Watch Zipang, its a throw back into WW2. The twist is a modern destroyer is sent back into WW2 time period after hitting a time warp in a training exercise near Hawaii. Don't watch the dubbed version ruins the whole anime.

WOAH...I love Rosario+Vampire. Plus, the manga is much much more interesting and longer...I wish the anime was continued but it went too far off the manga and plus Gonzo is a shitty publisher. Right now I'm finishing Witchblade which is pretty damn good too!!! I just finished Excel Saga not too long ago

If u are gonna start with the whole anime/manga stuff I personaly suggest you to read: Ichigo 100%, Rosario + Vampire. If you are going to wacth Anime I suggest: Code Geass, Clannad. And if u ever want to start off with visual novels (Basicaly, books with images and u actually interact with the story. Lots of animes come out of these.) then I would tell you to go off with Clannad (In total it takes over 50 hours to do all the paths) and Muv-luv Alternative (More than 40 hours. Trouble is that this one is the third of a series and its hard to understand without going throught the 1st and 2nd, Extra and Unlimited, which take around 20 hours to complete)

All these wether its anime/manga/visual novel, are among the greatest of its category, however the themes are slightly childish. If u want any more details without spoilers just ask me to jump on TS3 sometime. However I am not a huuuuge fan of all this, I just like to wacth/read them just like I like videogaming. The person that trully is adicted to anime is kessa but shes not around so...

Cowboy Bebop is pretty good. I've only seen parts and pieces, but very nicely done.

As for Mel, you'd love Rosario+Vampire, it's really great. I am dead in love with the show, and the manga is a thousand times better, much more detailed. I'd never give up on that anime...if only they continued it...FUCKING GONZO YOU LAZY COMPANY!

Cowboy Bebop is a very linear series with a very central plot underlying each of the episodes. The viewer only becomes aware that they are actually following a plot later into the series, which is a pretty cool effect. Basically, it's in the future a duo of bounty hunters work their shit out, trying to make a meager living, which they can barely do. It's an extremely rich and detailed world thought up in beautiful artwork paired with great music.

I'd watch it start to finish if I were you. It's only 26 episodes total. There is a movie, and I forget where it is supposed to fall in the series. Watch it subbed, not dubbed, first.

I'm by no means an anime fan, and I love this anime.
