Well folks,

This thread will serve to show what needs to be done (servers, forum), and their progress, etc.

Here's the current to-do list and its priority:

Task - Priority (A=very important, F=unimportant)
  • XLRstats for all b3 servers - B (S1 is done)
  • Fix black log-in input boxes - B
  • Add Minecraft Server - B
  • Edit the Welcome forum PM - C
  • Add Staff Application - C
  • Add ROTU 2.0/.1 to the LA VDS - C/D
  • Add TF2 server - D/F
  • Create a Dedicated Server in AZ - F

Tasks Done:

  • FireDaemon/PanelDaemon to NY - A DONE
  • FireDaemon/PanelDaemon to LA - A DONE
  • Configure Krew Throw Down server - A DONE
  • NY GunGame server - C DONE
  • Add Cartoons server - C DONE
  • Fix forum ranks - C DONE
  • Re-add signatures, avatars to the forum - C DONE
  • Consolidate all Echelon instances into 1 host/webpage - D/F DONE

Well folks, feel free to post what I left out and I might add it to the list.

Very awesome, thanks for everything that you do, Wally! What is FireDaemon used for in relation to the servers?

lol, I had a feeling you'd be the one to ask ;)

FireDaemon is a start/stop/restart program that I've configured to restart all cod4 servers and b3 instances whenever the LA VDS gets rebooted. PanelDaemon will be used by D, Andy and I if ever the need to start/stop/restart the cod4 servers & b3 instances from a web-gui. PanelDaemon removes the need to use Remote Desktop to do the above. I finally got around to add/configure it to the LA servers, and it works like a charm. :)

Will all new servers have B3? And will they all use the new Echelon?
Will NY and LA FFA be updating to the new Echelon?

All new servers will have b3. New b3 instances will have the new Echelon.
NY and LA b3's will get the new Echelon as well but it's currently at priority D/F because I need to work out how and where I can host it so that all servers can be shown on 1 single webpage.

How about some decent servers on LA side. Like zeds or toons. Or change the other FFA BC to HC. Unless there are players on the mixed gamerype server I just have to play on Node.

I've finished PanelDaemon for NY. I've also re-arranged the importance of the list. Keep in mind, the groups are in no particular order.

What is zeds? And cartoons will definitely go in LA. I have to balance the load from both VDS' either way.

I'll make a thread asking if people would like S2 back to HC.

When we get toons, can that be rcon controlled? I know many people like it when I make the moon walk settings. And rcon is just so much better imo lol.

RCON is certainly better, for little-used servers that are used in varying ways. Ergo:

A 24/7 BC FFA server - B3 is much better.

A mixed games server or Toons, where you need to change gametypes or grav or maps for scrims or whatever other reason, RCON rules.

I second a vote for toons server.

Toons > Soccer.

The toons server could use b3 and RCON. B3 for bans/kicks etc so they would be logged, RCON given out to the proper people for changing settings.
