phone tethering. for games

Has anyone here tethered to phone to play cod, or any other games? if you have wht was the speed like and did it use up your data quickly?

I have accidentally with my phone hotspot lol. The connection was actually pretty good. The ping was barely higher but I didn't see how much data it used.

I did use my tethering for CoD. The speed was terrible lol. And I was even on 4G!

Plus my "unlimited" plan from AT&T has slower internet now because I used 3GB of data. AT&T is a really dumb company so if you have them, don't tether or don't use the internet on the phone that much lol. It's so easy to go over 3GB

I use my iPhone sometimes.. MW3 takes like 50mb/h plus the ping is higher..

50mb/h eh? balls, my data is only 500mb.
