Advertising on S1

I feel like this should be a given, but it showed to be an issue today.
There is NO advertising of other servers on S1 until it is consistently populated.
Wally said this when the server komp started.
And now it proved to be an issue today when we went from 22 members on S1 to 6 after two krew members, one of which is an admin, started shouting S3 in S1 chat.
You do not need a reminder on this. Know the boundaries.

That's specifically why I asked not to advertise. I knew members would flock to another server, and thus the other players would end up leaving because of a nearly empty server. Such a shame.

Please follow the rules folks; we don't have that many and they're quite simple.

Wait, just to be clear, we can't say "let's go play on the rotu server [insert a name here]..." because that's cause the server to empty out? If that's a rule, I think I broke it several times

It's not a rule. But at this moment I don't think it's a good idea to ask anyone that's currently in S1 to join any other server.

Yea repopulating s1 is now more imortant than other servers because it will be our main server.

It is a problem... 50% (or more) of those who play on s1 are Krew or forum members, if u say "Hey, let's go to s3" 50% of players leave and server dies. Not the best way to populate it...

I accidently forgot this shit after the trip and was one of those two who said "hey let's go to s3" yesterday... I apologize...

If our goal is to get and keep players and krewmembers then it shouldn't matter if another of our servers is mentioned in s1.
Ideally we want all servers populated but if they aren't, s1 is often populated and they would end up there anyway.

What's the difference?

If i was a player playing in a broadcast 24/7 and saw the server all but empty because all it's members went to another server, i would leave that broadcast, not go to the other server (b/c obviously i wanted to play 24/7 bc) go find another bc server with more people and put THAT one into my favs and not the one i left. Chances are that one in my favs would be my new reg BC server.

That's the difference. S1 is the priority, always has been. BC has been our most populated and consistent server since day one. Until it gets back to that, emptying it isn't really the best of ideas.

So what if someone (i.e. a Krewmemeber) was looking to play on a server where the ping didn't totally suck ass, and they asked (insert Krewmwmber here) to play on (insert OTHER KKK server here).

They're still all KKK servers

but even if your not advertising and you ask a krew member(s) on say 'xfire' you are still leaving the server and emptying it where as advertising it may lead the players in the same server to join one of the other servers advertised
