In talking with a couple of people who have played the more popular ROTU, it seems most of them edit or mod the CFG to add more guns, better prices, more ammo per gun etc.

I think we should do this as our ROTU could use a lot of improvement, IMO.

Post some of the best things you've seen in on other servers and HOPEFULLY < we can make some changes if everyone agrees on them.

I'm no mod expert, so if anyone wants to give it a shot, then you're more than welcome to.

I can only change server settings, add maps - things of that nature.

More zombies spawning per person to increase difficulty level
Custom guns with different damage levels, clip sizes, and fire rate
Possible 2 bosses in boss wave instead of 1
Increase of turret price to discourage turret purchase as they cause lag
Different maps and regular map rotation to avoid maps getting stale


Right now the amount of zombies in the Rotu server is high but the amount that spawn per person is low which makes the game drag on and on. By increasing this it would increase the speed of the game and would encourage more playing as the few times I've played... I've just gotten tired after a few waves of this and left.
Custom guns are a big draw.. only a few servers have them and I think perhaps only 2 of those servers have actual decent guns.
I know people love to spawn rape the zombies with c4 but I'm anti this as I feel it allows 1-2 players to hog the majority of the kills which can be frustrating for the rest of the players. One of my favorite servers has c4 disabled. I know this isn't likely to be a popular opinion but I'll throw it out there anyway lol

I agree with Mel on this, perhaps the best thing to do is to make more zombies spawn at the same time to make it more difficult. Also, different guns would be nice but not really essential.

C4 is good for hell zombies.

Spawnkilling with it happens on certain maps and it's inevitable.
