Nazi war criminal found

Ninety-seven year old Laszlo Csatary, responsible for the deaths of nearly 16,000 Jews in WWII was recently found living in a fancy apartment in Budapest. It is crazy to think that so many of the people that committed such heinous crimes still walk free today. He was sentenced to death right after the war, but he had already escaped to Canada. People are saying that the charges should be waved just because he is an old man. I don't care how old the man is, he needs to pay for what he has done.

IMO, it would be a disgrace to our current generation to let this man go.

Hes 97 years old, he is hopping for someone to kill him already!! I say we keep alive and looked up in a horrible prison where he will be by himself a few days before he dies.

yeah i agree...and he's prolly at hidden head of nazi movement all over the world, and if he can run out of two countries without being caught all this time he's prolly have a lot of contact and money to do that (Do you know ONE poor art trader?)...but IMO,
1) it won't change anything about his contacts and activities with outside world if he goes to jail...he maybe just gonna die faster...(if he stayed free no doubt that like nazi have alien technology that can keep ppl alive for eternity he'll sure rebuilt the reich<-sargasm :p)
2) he'll probably die before the end of the expensive trial...why even do a trial?...and i bet he's gonna play madness or Alzheimer, or every health issue to avoid the trial...a huge waste of time and money except for lawyers and judges, etc, etc,...
3)There's more dangerous men outside than a 97yo man but they are harder to catch...and its easier to catch a senile old men in socks and undies for order he gaves almost 70y ago in a war time... than an actual nazi/terrorist/politician/bank owner/W/E who's ruining the world... (dude i've found a Roman cubitus in my backyard...should i judge him for punic war?)

It's too late now to punish anyone from WWII for any crimes. What the world should concentrate on more are the current wars and conflicts all over the place including the Middle East

i would just lock him in a small room with blank walls and just a rug to lay on a tiled floor with just wearing boxers and his socks and feed him grool once every 2 days

Other point is "They found him"...is he arrested now? No! why? Cause he was hidding in hungary, hungarian autorities knew he was on their territory...So don't expect a trial soon...

I agree with Paige. Murder is murder there should be no difference in sentencing of a person on account of age, especially in this case. Where i come from we would find the nearest sturdy oak tree and a rope and then... well you get the picture lol jking. XD

Don't kill him. Put him in prison with the black version of big bob. Let nature take it's course.

I heard a Hungarian jew saying there was like 2,000 other Nazi ODESSA war survivors still out there and this guy was actually just a small player in the equation.

the media loves this kind of story.

What's ODESSA? I searched and Google told me it was a Ukranian town.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ODESSA

The ODESSA, from the German Organisation der ehemaligen SS-Angehörigen, meaning “Organization of Former SS Members,” is believed to have been an international Nazi network set up toward the end of World War II by a group of SS officers. The purpose of the ODESSA was to establish and facilitate secret escape routes, later known as ratlines, to allow SS members to avoid their capture and prosecution for war crimes. Most of those fleeing out of Germany and Austria were helped to South America and the Middle East.
