Post what good deals you are getting and recommend games for people!

I just bought LA Noir for big discount. I got Portal 1 and 2 package for like 7 bucks. Splinter Cell Conviction for 10 bux, i think. And the Indie games pack (i think it's good to promote independent developers, and the games are cheap).

So what are you guys looking at?

I got the 100% off deal at Warez-bb.

Saints row 3 is on sale for $33. Very fun game but was a bit short and got a bit old after a while.

I got Conviction for about 6 bucks & that was at least 6 months ago. Not on Steam though.

Red Faction: Guerrilla is on sale for $5. Fun game although a bit repetitive.

It's only good for another seven hours though.

So far I bought fallout 3 goty, star wars the force unleashed and dark forces, prince of Persia warrior within, need for speed hot pursuit. I'm getting dayZ for sure.

RAGE - $9.99 - Fun game but does suffer from a few graphical bugs. Each have multiple fixes but could be a pain depending on your PC.

Metro 2033 - $4.99 - Awesome game with stunning graphics. However you need a very good GPU to run this on high.

Saints Row 3 - $12.49 - Massive fun, well worth it.

Not really.

Fallout 3 has an open world where you can go anywhere and do anything you want, choosing when to do your main quest, side quest etc. You can also choose dialogue options and dictate how you want your character to be. Depending on your choices, you can experience many different endings, different outcomes in the various locations etc etc. The replay value is almost endless.

Fallout 3 is characterized as an action RPG.

Metro 2033 follows a pre-scripted story and a linear path. There are no dialogue options. There is only one ending. Aside from the cut-scenes, it's a pure shooter.

There only similarities is Metro 2033 taking place in a post-apocalyptic world, in this case Moscow, and also fighting some of the creatures that were spawned from that. Metro 2033 is a fun game, but the graphics are what really makes it. They are incredible.

Never played any of the STALKER games.

I bought skyrim for 29 bucks. Game is hella fun. I enjoy it quite a bit. Prob in my list of top 5 games

I wanted to like it, but i just couldn't get into it. Ended up uninstalling it. I just couldn't get into the clunky combat system.

I wish they could have combined Skyrim's world and story with the combat system in Kingdoms of Amalur.
