Spawn Camping

Sure i know i have as much fun as the next person killing the spawn camper, but when there are 3 of them covering the major spawns you have no chance of entering the game at all. I died and at the next 4 spawns i was camped. How are we supposed to play when this is becoming a major issue, 6 people left the game because of this fact. For 2 rounds the spawn campers placed in the top 3 on both rounds with out no skill or anything and i think its very unfair to players who work hard at getting better at the game.

Well not to be rude but these things happen quite often. Its Unavoidable, the only thing that can be done is to just get over it and play it as it lies. Another thing u can do is spectate and just rat the camper out informing players of his/her location.

It really doesn't bother me that much because you can usually just sprint out of the way, crouch, go prone, or even just jump and they usually miss you the first time. Although what Diz said is the best course of action to take (Ask for help from Code Pink).

ok guess you guys didnt quite understand what i put. I died one time out in the open then the next 4 times i spawn i was killed by a camper and thats why i say something needs to be done about it

OK perhaps ur not getting the meaning.Spawn Camping is not against the rules which means nothing can be done about as far as higher authority goes.The only thing that can be done is to suck it up.u dnt spawn in the same spot everytime so after u have spawned hunt the camper down and kil him. Campers are often reclusive meaning u can anti-camp just waiting for them to return and kill them.

There really is nothing we can do about it seeing as it is allowed. Servers with no FFA usually have no spawn killing so you could go there. Other than that, you just have to get used to having so many spawn campers about. I think everyone hates them all with the same passion, especially the ones who only spawn camp, but we just have to learn to live with them. They are easy to kill cause if you think about it, they are non-moving targets that are only facing one way and don't really expect you to spawn without dieing.

Yeah car Diz and Random are right. It's highly annoying but it's not against the rules. I know what you mean though, it just happened to me too like 4 or 5 times in a row. I wanna so bad kick them bastards off lol. But I won't since it doesn't break any rules. Just do what the other guys said, try to move as fast as you can and check that spawn spot. If that's all they do they'll be at one of them. Oh and it does seem to help when you post it on the console. I know AVC is all over one when I say where one is. So try that also..

yes car, brian,diz, and random are right.
we can't do anything about these campers.
its not like we can BAN then for camping
IMO, spawn camping is part of the fun of the game.
it ruins your K/D ratio, which makes you try even harder in the game, which eventualy gets really fun
you should try AVC's topic about spawncamping.
it has a good anti-spawncamping area in broadcast.

spawn camping is highly annoying!! i was there this morning when there were 7 spawn killers!
what i did was wait to re spawn somewhere where there not killing then i went to the spawn killers spot and got a few free head shots! (13 head shots with my sniper)
Also, sometimes if u call them out on it and ask them to stop, they do (if there nice)
other than that there is nothing u can do except play and try to ignore it and find there spots and kill them

Spawn camping is a big issue, I agree. But trying to figure out the line on who's spawn camping and who's not, even if they just did it for 2 seconds, etc. etc. it's gonna be a bit of a strain to Moderate. We are trying to keep the rules at a very minimum. Some of them are much needed, but something like this, I wouldn't want to push as a rule. It's not really fair for my limited amount of Staff to ask them to spectate and try to figure out if they're spawn camping or not.

Shit car, you should have seen it on 1.6 when that server had 40-50 ppl in it , and almost always over 30. You could hardly move in there. I had over 200 kills once or twice there were so many damn ppl.

Hi, this has been a talking point for the staff.

Spawn campers will always be about. Generally they are noobs trying to rack up kills. Not many players would play a game for months and spawn camp the whole time.

We don't want to make a rule about no spawn camping, we don't want too many rules, and we don't want to kick too many players, nor have to police it.

What to do? In the first instance, TELL EVERYONE! That will usually paint a target on their ass. Hunt them down!

If the spawn campers are seriously serial offenders (like spending the whole round in one spot camping non stop) AND players are complaining about one player in particular, then alert a mod who can warn them via the console.

Only in severe cases would they get kicked (not banned) and it is all on a case by case basis.

Yeah, I remember 1.6 and you getting those kills Damage, it was flipping insane. I tend to go bust when you start getting too many people in there. Always shooting my ass.

Spawn camping is irritating, but nothing gives me more joy than to kill spawn campers and hackers. I wouldn't really recommend listing people's location for a whole game, tends to get rather irritating. Just say who is a spawn camper, and anyone with any respect will hunt them down. If you kill one spawn camper enough times, they get bored and leave, the fags just can't handle it. Even if there are four campers, you will eventually spawn, and then you can go to work, making their life hell. Plus, usually they aren't that bright. Give them a bit of banter, stops them clicking the mouse, and irritates them, .

and remember not all spawn campers are not always noobs a lot of good players on our servers have spawn killed before for some headshots
