I made a game! You can test it :3

The current place holder name is TextQuest

It is a text based fighting game kind of like the iPod apps. You click buttons to select the monster you want to fight, it opens the fight screen and you fight, you buy things at the shops, when you level up you can get more attack defense or Health points. Travel to new worlds as you get stronger to get on your way to beating the boss. Keep track of the monsters you fighting using the Monster Index and then use that to study the monsters stats.

If any spyware says it isn't safe, just ignore that. This game is 100% safe I promise!

To play this make sure you have the latest .NET framework installed.

Well, I tried playing it and I typed in my name, checked the box, and clicked okay. But right after that the entire game crashed (even after multiple times trying).

Could just be me.

I still have to get involved in C++ before I start doing that. so I made this for now, 1. because I really wanted to make a game and had this idea and 2. I was just bored and wanted something to do.

edit: have you looked at the C++ tutorial on cplusplus.com? They make some good sense of it

Thanks :3 I wasnt expecting people to like it much but and honestly I didnt think it would work at all but I am so happy I did it. I am going to add more monsters and get graphics in it and then release it for $1 like the Ipod apps

I plan on taking C++ classes as soon as I have the money for it. I don't care what anyone says(and people say a lot =/), I will be a game developer =D hehe

It really helps with the basics and it does a good amount of explaining. It may make taking classes easier too

I fixed the inventory problem where nothing in the inventory worked. please try to break it anyway you can and if you can tell me how so I can fix it

New item: Monster Index - Keep track of the monsters you fight and study there stats using it
Now has worlds you can travel to with new monsters in each world.
Fight all the monsters and beat the boss to claim your victory to this game!!!
