It's about the abuse that some female gamers get from their male counterparts. It also seems to be the xbox community who are responsible. I'm glad that i've never seen anyone abuse our female members. I gotta admit not much gets to me, but if i saw a guy giving Boo for example grief, i would not be able to hold back (I think it's my paternal instinct).

Give me your thoughts boys and girls.

Agree with you 100% as usual Animal,I'm willing to bet that those guilty of abusing girls online have trouble even talking to girls IRL. Thankfully for the most part the people here treat women respectfully or at least the girls that hang out with us can hold their own against stupid comments(Boo and Mel )

One thing I notice about this article is that they kinda single out female harassment. What about guys saying all this crap to each other? They sorta leave that in the shadows...
Everyone gives everyone that load of crap. Guys get away with saying that to other guys so naturally they are gonna say it to girls too.

It's wrong for anyone to say that to anyone. period.

I don't necessarily think the insults are directed at females most of the time just because they are female.

It's not only a part of gaming culture, but a microcosm of how people today act towards and treat one another. There seems to be very little respect left in the world.

This is true, it's kinda sad...thankfully it doesn't happen to me too much. But really, the guys who do this are just assholes with totally no life. I'm glad all the guys on this forum are respectful and kind to girls.

Yeah that's complete BS man and I'm with you Animal, I would beat the daylights out of someone if they talked like that to a girl in front of me. I know that some guys do it because it's "online" gaming and just defeating the enemy, but many people don't see it that way.

Anyways if I seen any of the guys here talk like that to our lady members I'll get in there ass for it, no joke! (I don't see this happening though...)

I've had this happen to me on server 1 a few times. Usually it's some guy that's been being a dick to others, sees my name and tells me to get the fuck off and go make him a sandwich because girls don't belong in cod. Kind of sucks, but a few assholes isn't something I can't handle. If it were a krew member being serious, i would probably take offense. But I will stab at y'all just as much as y'all do it to me
