Not sure if u guys watch football(soccer) but i swore Bayern were gonna just dismantle Chelsea, they won on penalties. 0_0 epic game though, lots a excitement.

I actually watched the game.

I am baffled as to how a team can feel or be considered a true champion by winning on Penalty kicks. A game should be decided on the field. It would be like Ending the NBA finals on a free throw shooting contest or the World Series on a home run derby. Makes no sense to me and totally ruins the game for me.

If they are worried about players getting tired they should allow more subs or something. Anything but PK. It was a good good though despite the terrible ending.

Yeah well thats football for you, the unexpected always happens, everyone im sure assumed the champions league final to be a classico final with barca and madrid, no one expected chelsea to beat napoli? to beat BARCELONA!!, no one expected bayern to beat Real Madrid either, year of the underdogs i'd say.

I don't follow soccer, i just watched the game because nothing else was on. I watch World cup, thats about it.

Just cant get into a game that decides its champions in it's biggest events in a shootout.

I agree with you 100% I have never understood why they havent used extra time until a winner is decided or golden goal. Most sports have some sort of extra time format.

Soccer does have extra time, 30 mins extra is added and then if the game still cant be decided, penalties!! i love them actually. and allowing more subs i think would mean basically having a totally diff team which would could be unfair giving circumstances.

Bayern clearly played offensive and was much better during the whole game. Chelsea was going for penalties since the beggining of the game... Chelsea sucks, Bayern deserved to win. Damm even madrid and barça should have been there in the final.
