So I get home yesterday, and turn on the PC.
Network has limited or no connectivity.
Wireless is working, other PCs on the network working.
Change cables, not working, change ports on the router, not working.
Boot to other drive, not working (that rules out software).
So I rummage through my box of tricks and find a network card. Disable the onboard in the BIOS, install new card.
Network connects now, but really flakey. Can't connect to COD servers, email and internet slow as shit.
I'm thinking the Southbridge (or Northbridge, whichever handles the network connectivity)
Dammit, looks like new mobo, CPU and RAM
This could be in the rage thread...
