Yeah I never text and drive unless it's saying something like "ok" or whatever. I tried it a couple of times and said fck that! It's too dangerous. I don't have a problem with talking on my phone and driving though..

I find that talking is easier than texting even though I have a NZ Learners Licence so i really shouldnt be doing either.

In Oz, you can't touch your mobile at all while driving. If you have hands free that's OK, but even if it's in a holder on the dash, you cant press the answer button.

But of course, it's OK to fiddle with your stereo or GPS.

I can text while driving, but at a rate of one letter per 20-30 seconds, so it's pointless.

Newer cars, if you connect your phone to them wirelessly, you can control a phone call through a few buttons on the steering wheel, and the call is done through the stereo system. Tis Kewl.
