Why CoD4 is the best Cod.

hey guys t his is my first new thread so ya....

ok so i want to hear your guy's is ideas on why cod 4 is the best cod. what makes cod 4 so good from all the other ones.
why do people still play cod? why is cod4 good? lets hear your ideas.

It's simply a easy to play game that most systems can handle. It's also a game that can be changed to suit your tastes and allows admins and mods to keep it clean

There is balance and simplicity, mixed with a shot load of fun. The community is loyal and the mods are really cool.

do u guys think that the console game of cod4 is bad? is there like hackers on like every server?

It's fast paced and has a nice mix of cover and noncover.

Promod is lame.

There needs to be a middle between promod and stock cod.... so real players can have fun.


I like stock more. It is less bitchy, less fanboy-based, and has less highschool faggots.


I love Cod4. It is the best cod.

I actually like the gameplay of more recent cods (with the exception of BO) it feels perfected, the thing that ruins those games is that the Developers took away dedicated servers and the players' ability to deal with hackers and such. So I think the gameplay of MW2 and 3 and beyond would rival that of cod4 if the Devs you stop using that shitty match-making system they thought of and go back to the old cod4 interface and polish it back up. I would have no complaints if they had used the cod4 interface with more recent releases.

It's the same maps with pretty heavily tweaked gameplay.

You should check it out. It can be really fun, don't get me wrong. I just don't think it's perfected, like they say it is.

I think it would be cool if the people that used promod made their own game based around promod game mechanics instead of modding cod4.

I like it because it is mostly balanced, no guns are RIDICULOUSLY overpowered, unlike with the more recent ones.
