(By the start of July I'll be getting many new parts, the build isn't the best, but let me say, everything I've thrown at it (MW3, Skyrim, Crysis, BF3) I can run on max settings and have no lag.329113_276617642397644_100001482316350_813902_334239822_o.jpg

why such a big PSU? not to be rude but I doubt that your build plays skyrim max settings or even BF3 max settings. You should of invested in a lower end socket 1155 cpu/motherboard as well socket 775 is absolute

as stevo said that psu is so overkill. you would be better off with a good 550w psu or a 650w psu maxs

stevo there is nothing wrong with the core 2 duo (my old one still works fine) but the core i series is better altho also costs loads more.

im not sure if thats the parts you have or the parts your looking to upgrade to but as stevo said you would be better off getting a lower end 1155 socket cpu and motherboard as well as changing the psu for something smaller. id also swap the ram for a better brand. i also fail to see the above card playing some of them games at max settings.

if thats the setup you have and your looking to upgrade it you would be better off starting with psu, cpu, motherboard and gpu

I use G.skill in my build, never had an issue. Ram is ram.

Second the PSU comments. I don't know how the 250 is running Crysis on max without lag. I had an overclocked 275 previously and it could not max out Crysis.

Well I've ran them, i don't have the games anymore but if i did i would like to try them out and see.. but it is a very nice computer, just need a job for better parts, probably going to get a socket 2011 with i7 3.2 6 core and 7950 radeon hd, and the psu is just so whenever i get new parts i know my psu will handle them

why do you want a SB-E cpu? are you going to be editing video/photos? if your not going to be doing loads of video editing then you dont need all that power (it wont help you with playing games)
