Console spam has seemed to disappear from server 1. IDK what the reason is. I can guess that maybe the reason is people don't like text on their screen, but all the best players Iknow deal with it and still own, y'all, so obviouly it;s not a real problem. If you lose, you just suck . End of story.

SO I would put forth that we include a couple of things on console spam. The first is our website. We need to include that. It seriously helps us get new forum members, first of all, and all the servers are on the website. People will go on our various servers simply by seeing we have them on our website. S1 is the only one that really brings in NEW traffic on a reg basis.

The second is that we need to advertise our other broadcast server. I would like to see (in a perfect ideal world) server 1 be maxed out at 25 players and the other broadcast server get just as much traffic. That's never gonna happen unles the server 1 regulars also know about the other broadcast server. Both run the same shit. Both could easily be just as populated. Let's get on that. I'm willing to throw down my personal time to make this happen, just tell me how.

One thing to consider would be making both servers have the same title in the server browswer (the second obviously having a "2" on the end of it)



If we had 2 active BC servers, we could do much more in the ways of making our other servers active and such. Let's get on this, please? If everyone mobilizes on this one, we can make it happen.

Yea, I think I have AT THE VERY LEAST 1 thrad about spamming the simple rules. It just don't work. Only one I can name is spawncamping.

Pretty sure the other BC is a flop. Why should the old timers on BC1 move to BC2, when they are basically just clone of each other (a little ping boost doesnt help an average gamer that much). Maybe we should kill THAT off and leave our TF2 server on for a little while more.

The other BC is not a flop. It is a great 1v1 server, and we have 8 people or more on almost every day, and there have been some super fun matches on it just in the past few weeks!

Maybe we can advertise more servers as well, but BC 2 is worth it.

One idea from Grey_Fox that i really liked today was putting some funny quotes in the console spam. It would be a good idea IMO. Just something to entertain people.

Ethan, if the purpose of Bc2 was for 1v1, we've already had more than enough empty server for that. We should keep tf2 a while longer, and in the meanwhile convert bc2 into a killing floor server.

BC 2 does not just function as a 1v1 server, I see people on there even when there is no KKK member with them, sometimes. This would just be to get both servers populated. Especially as we have a 30 player limit, some people would like to be able to play if the server is full. Also, some people complain about too many people on the server when server 1 is full, this gives them another server of the same type to play on with less people.

Not a flop. Good idea.

So maybe something just like "Server full? Here's our other 24/7 FFA Broadcast server! IP:" shit like that.....

Also, changing it's name to appear next to the other BC in the server browser might be of help.

Yeah that's a good idea, it should give our forums and other servers more traffic. I would just recommend not making it too much as I myself always hate servers pumping out 5 lines per minute flooding your screen constantly.

On pb servers, you can do something more similar to that, I believe. Idk... there is probably other software we could run to allow things like this.

Every 2 minutes seems reasonable to me, as well.

i personally love having the other broadcast server to retreat to when s1 gets overrun,to have the odd 1v1 or knife battle when the mood strikes.Console messages announcing Zombies and gungame IP's etc would be great IMO..good idea TD

Server 1 is super populated because of the map and gametype. If we get the other broadcast rolling, it won't stop. Let's do it.....
