Rush Limbaugh

Living in the South, I have been indoctrinated to listen and believe everything that this man says. I don't understand what he offers. All that he seems to do is yell at whoever is in Congress or in power. It's just stupid. I have quit listening to him and have tried to stop watching the news in general.
Fox News is retarded and biased...

I try to balance my news intake, sometimes with right-wing nutjob radio but I can only stomach about 1 minute with Rush Limbaugh lol.

It's like he makes up everything he says and has no concept of journalistic integrity.

I can't say much cuz I don't ever listen to him. He seems to be very right winged though. I listen to Neil Boortz instead :D

Well the tread is titled Rush Limbaugh so it would be both right? Seems like it be anything you say would have to do with this. Also, what makes him so stupid in your opinion? Yeah I don't agree with him on everything but then again who do you with, anyone? Not talking shit or anything just saying...
 
He's probably still popping pills. My step dad loved this guy, had all his books etc, but he was a raging abusive alcoholic. Meh.
 
Well, not citing anything specific, he tends to, as greg said, simply make things up. He will cite sources that are completely bullshit. He will make claims that are completely unfounded and just untrue. He does it blatantly in many cases. I will try to find some examples. I remember one having to do with cigarette companies. Some rant of his, he ended up citing some ridiculous study done by some weird contractor working for a cig company, and idk if the study actually even existed.

Not to mention he just went on the air and called Obama "uppity." And excuse my language, but uppity simply refers to the phrase "uppity ******s." Basically, Rush isn't a reporter or even a legitimate news commentator. He's just some dude who screams and says off the wall shit to get ignorant people rowdy. However, he sells his stuff as legitimate news and editorial.
 
You don't call yourself professional and then go on the air and call the president an uppity ******.


Well, you do if you're rush....
