History of Thanksgiving!

Well most of us know Thanksgiving as a day to eat turkey and be with family, but how did Thanksgiving come to be? I thought I would share this with the Krew!
In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. For more than two centuries, days of thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states. It wasn't until 1863, in the midst of the Civil War, that President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be held each November.

The native americans and pilgrims were both from space. The pilgrims came from a planet called Plymouth which has stuffing mines to supply the worlds stuffing. The native americans and pilgrims were in a constant war for control over the stuffing mines. The arrived on Earth to create a peace treaty among the two planets.
