PB back to s3

So, I suggest that we put Punkbuster back to s3.
Why? Well, since Wally has disabled spectating for the most part, it’s really hard to spectate a possible cheater. Besides every other server we have is non-PB.
I banned 2 hackers in 5 minute time period on s3 so its becoming an issue.

u actually banned 3, and 2 more runend away. Out of a total of 7 non-krew members. If we are gonna deal with an 80% of players being hacks I want pb back again.

I also agree havin to deal with hackers on s1 and possibly s2 is its on job now havin to deal with hackers on s3 too is abit too much pb did it job keepin s3 clean.Damage i most likely know u may vote no cuz u wouldnt be able to play on s3 but think about it.

That's just stupid! Because a lot of people won't be able to play on S3. ALSO PB kicks more innocent people than hackers. Takes longer time to find a hacker for PB than it does for a mod. So I vote NO on this one.

Seems like a knee jerk overreaction. Hackers are going to show up, that's just a fact of the game. If you can't spectate, change teams. Letting hackers dictate how we run our servers is ridiculous. PB is going to kick as many good members who want to play s3 as it does hackers.

When S3 is populated there is usually at least one mod/admin on and at the very least a few members to report the hackers. Most of the time they won't last long one way or another. Funny how so many people change their vote over a bad twenty minutes or after a little bump in the road. Make a choice and stick with it.

I voted no.

Granted, it's an extra step or two to get rid of the hacker, but it's do-able. We just changed it like a week or so ago. Lets give it some time before we make the change, shall we?

I voted no as well. Mods are supposed to figure out if someone is hacking. They can change teams like D said, or just take a few extra steps like Walter said. Now, if the problem occurs more often then not, maybe we can rethink this.

Really, the innocent ppl that get kicked only need to waste about 10 min max when fixing a probelm, but no one bothers to try to fix problems, and just hate it. I feel people should vote yes, and just fix their goddamn probelms... LOL sorry I might sound a bit harsh I just mad cuz Stanford LOST

Ummm, not all punkbuster problems are a quick fix actually Cent... I voted no, we just took punkbuster off of the server, and as others have said, when that server is occupied there is usually one or more mods/admins on. This gives us a chance to find possible new members, and have our members who are otherwise left out, join in on the fun.

I voted no.. If all the mods, super mods and admins had the password this would be a non-issue. There always seems to be a ton of staff hanging in the shout box ready to ban and I'd rather see the mods do the job then some buggy program that has the tendency to ban the innocent as well

I vote no for the same reason stated by Rival. PB used to ban me all the time for random shit and even though i updated pb and thats not a problem anymore there are still tons of people out there that have problems with pb.

Exactly this. Totally agree with houston, and all the others who voted no, but houston said it the best imo. We have mods for a reason, im glad i am one and will do my job the best i can whenever i can. I hope thats the same for the other mods and if it is, why need punkbuster?

#1. This isn't true in every case. I would get kicked because of MSI, fixed that , then started getting kicked for some other BS reason. PB also changed my windows theme to basic. No fix for that.

#2. Mods/admins only need to take 2 mins to change teams or spec, type in ban client and solve the problem.
