Hey guys, that are old enough, I cook a damn good hamburger. 2lbs of burger, packet of ranch dressing, 3 tbs liquid smoke and you can add minced onions if you want. It makes for a damn good burger.

I love using liquid smoke that's good stuff. Also adding some good wood chunks to your coals makes for awesome bbq, but it's hard for a burger since those cook quickly. Have you ever tried putting cheese in the middle of the hamburger and forming your patty around the cheese? It's awesome that way when the cheese melts in the middle of the burger itself. I miss smoking/grilling but it rains so damn much here i don't get to do it very much anymore, bust come summer i will be doing some long 7hr rib smokes that's for sure.

I'll have to try the cheese in the middle, sounds good. I use the liquid smoke for marinating steaks for 24 hrs. It's awesome.

Try this for marinades on steaks and tri tip roasts. 1/2 cup olive oil 1/4th cup soy sauce and some montreal steak spice or garlic and onion medley made by Mcormicks as well. Shake it up in a bag and marinade in the fridge for a few hours. Man it's awesome. If that's too much just do 1/4th cup oil and 2 tblspoon of soy. Use seasoning to your preference.

That sounds good, I just hate going out to eat for steaks, because I know I can make a whole lot better one than they can, no matter where you go.

Well i dunno about that, some really good steakhouses make some excellent aged steaks that they cook at like 1600 degrees.

My mom's recipe: chicken meat, small diced onions, tomatoes, cilantro, some spices, make them in patties and fry. Delicious! I might just ask my wife to do some tomorrow, man I'm hungry!

How does she get the chicken meats to stick together so it comes out like a burger?

Aaah forgot about that! I think they use a bit of flour and also some eggs.

If u are going to put the cheese in the middle, u can not forget the bacon. I love having cheese and bacon in the middle of my burger. I have never heard of the liquid smoke. gonna have to try that.

another tasty tip for burger: Make 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. Put already cooked bacon in the sandwich as u melt the cheese. After making ur burger, use the 2 grilled chesse and bacon sanwiches as ur bun. cheesy goodness.

The next thing im going to try is to stuff the burger with chili and cook it. maybe a little shredded cheese in there to. wouldnt that be good.
