I got your attention with the Announcement Title didn't I? :K

Bad news:
The time has come folks. The final stages of migration to the San Jose machine are almost here. S3 (S&D) and S5 ('toons) server will be moved by this weekend. The only one that is left in Dallas will be S1. That server is too vital to close it right now.

Good news:
Since the move comes at a cost (higher ping) to our loyal non-american guests, this thread is basically to start an open discussion on where our next server location will be at! That's right folks, I will be considering getting an Aussie or EURO server so that we (americans) can start suffering some ;)

Though, I've mentioned getting a Washington, D.C server for the Euro folks, I personally think it's about time we got an international server because we're starting to get out-numbered :K

Either way, lets get the ball rolling. At this moment, the details aren't concrete but I would imagine an international server with about 12-15 player slots to start off. The server is going to be a bit pricey because I wont be going through our current gameserver host. So with that in-mind, please share your thoughts, and first and foremost, please state which side of the world you'd like to see the new server on!

WaLLy, If we managed to rent a Australian server, Our server would reach #1 in a few weeks. There are NO good servers in Australia.

If you consider Europe, get a dutch server,
afaik the netherlands have better access to the backbones than anyone else in europe

On a serious note.. We've had several European members in the past complain about shitty internet service in thier country.. We may wanna stay away from those areas

Past time we already had an euro server...result...no US member playing on it due to high ping they get...okay at this time we were a few less euro/aussie player in the krew.
But imo...save your money and get one between aussie and europe

The Netherlands has great servers and LOADS of dutch people play cod. What Beta said might be a good idea :D
(just kidding cuz might be too expensive: ) If you get a dutch server get one at www.lowpings.net Their datacenter is 4km from my house, thats like 2,5 miles. :p That makes me have like 10 ping haha

W00t! 100 ping! Now everyone can own me 100x more then normal, especially Californians. But hey, as long as I own in s1, I'm fine. There is no reason to get a east coast server, so don't worry about it! I might just cry a 'lil. I'm glad that all the servers are n one thing now; I was getting tired of mixed pings and IPs.

yea server in europe. Middle europe like Holland or Germany would be the best. But if its too expensive then we can keep it like that. I mean, its not an issue for us. We still kik ur american asses easily. :p
