Looks like bulldozer was finally released tonight. It's a massive flop imo. Here is a link for benchmarks.

Per core performance the phenom II is better. That is so sad. Overall performance of the 8 core version is around as powerful as the 4 core intel 2500k(at stocks speeds). To top it off, the power consumption on this thing is off the charts. When overclocking it to 4.6 ghz it consumed over 450 watts of power. Intel 2500k consumes around 260 watts @ 5ghz.
IMO If they would just make a new memory architecture this chip would have blown away Intel's sandy bridge. But AMD is still using outdated cache memory. All AMD Did tonight was play catch up to a chip that has been on the market for 10 months now.
