Call of Duty 4 Demo player for Mac OSX

Works on Windows too.

How to install
- Create a new profile in CoD4
- go to your new profile & adjust settings in-game
- close CoD4
- open the file you downloaded from above
- open Call of Duty 4/players/profiles/(new profile name)/config_mp.cfg
- copy & paste everything from the downloaded config to the new one you created
- save file & close


How to view demos
- move demo from CoD4/Main/demos to CoD4/Mods/ModWarfare/demos
- open CoD4 and load the new profile you created and modified earlier
- launch ModWarfare from the mods menu
- type "devmap mp_shipment" to console
- wait until it loads the map and type "/disconnect"
- now you're back at the menu, type "/demo (demoname)" to load demo
- use the hotkeys provided below to adjust demo

The reason you need to do this is because CoD4 is bugged and won't allow you to use "cheat protected" commands even when viewing demo files. So you need to load a cheat enabled map with the "devmap" to enable cheats, disconnect and then load the demo.

Keybinds
Numpad 1 = change field of view
Numpad 2 = adjust gamma
Numpad 3 = adjust film tweak brightness
Numpad 4 = slower playback
Numpad 5 = set speed to default
Numpad 6 = faster playback
Numpad 7 = toggle third person view on & off
Numpad 8 = toggle fps: 60, 90, 125, 250
Numpad 9 = toggle draw fps on & off
Numpad / = quit
F3, F4, F5 & F6 to change filmtweaks

In addition to this, you can do it without having to copy backup your normal CFG.

• Go to profiles
• Make another profile called DEMOS
• Set all the settings you like and add the new stuff from someone360's config
• When you want to watch a demo, simply get on that profile and you have all the binds you want without having to backup your main profile one
• When done, switch back to your main profile and that's it.

Well considering that there isn't another cod4 player for macs out.... Make a website and sell it. You should make pretty good money.

Well, If u hadnt noticed this post was made on October 2011. And someone is no longer a member of krew although he still comes in from time to time.

I would suggest u to talk to him but u urself are new here. So instead of just demanding for stuff why dont u get to know people first?
