Alienware? Are you serious? They are absolutely horrible.

You're going to have a hard time finding a gaming laptop for 600 bux. I'm sure Joe will come up with something though.

I'm probably going to try to play games like Battlefeild 3, MW3, maybe Skyrim. If it can, also I don't care on bulkiness or how it looks, as long as it runs good. What you posted looks good Joe, I'll look into it.

If you don't care too much about looks thats the way to go then. Honestly though I would recommend a desktop. If you are playing games it's going to be on a table plugged in anyway right? Why not just get a damm desktop then?

I'd rather something that's portable, and I already have a desktop that works.

Here's a couple laptops I found on the Best Buy website:

This one seems to be the same Lenvo you posted Joe except it seems to have different Graphics cards:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Lenovo+...Gray/2731265.p?id=1218347164819&skuId=2731265

This Samsung one might be a bit over budget but it seems like a good buy.

So which one do you think? It will probably be one of these, I'm thinking the Samsung one, but I would like to hear someone's imput first.

Samsung has the same performance as the link I showed you earlier but for more money. The other lenovo you have there has intel 3000 graphics, that will play nothing more than tf2 or something.

If you have the 679 to spend on that samsung laptop, then this is what you need.

That will trash that samsung you posted up and down the sidewalk

I have 0 knowledge of Windows, so i wont merge in this :p but I wanna say that on top of the laptop you need a mouse + keyboard if you dont have one yet, which will cost like 70 too. Just came up my mind i thought id tell you lol. You probably have both already but whatever.

Give me a few min, maybe I can do better for 700

Yup I found one better. GT555 nvidia graphics. This chip does fairly well for mobile gaming. You will be playing at medium high to highest settings graphically depending on games.

With this laptop you can run crysis 2 on very high settings @ 40fps.

Here is a dell laptop that has the same graphics chip http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Dell-XPS-17-Notebook-i7-2630QM-GT-555M.51949.0.html

Scroll down to "Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GT 555M". From the looks of it, it works great. Also just look at the scores for 1360 by 768, that's what the lenovo's screen resolution is.

Yes that is a good laptop, but the one I just posted has a better video card. Your asus has a GT540, the lenovo has a GT555. There is about a 48 graphics core difference, leading to much higher performance from the GT555.

OK sweet! My mom is considering buying this one after I showed it to her, but shes nervous about buying big ticket items on the internet so I have to print out all the warranty, return polices etc. Other than that this one looks like a winner! Thanks a bunch Joe, I owe you bro.

No problem man, took a while but found your match :D also tell your mom I buy things all the time from newegg, it's a trustworthy place. I just bought all my pc parts from there not even a few weeks ago. Been shopping with them for years now.
