I like Turtles

Hello Everyone,

I was on my way to Taco Bell and I found something laying in our yard. Yes, it's a damn turtle . I thought it was weird because we don't live near any pounds. I was to much of a pussy to pick it up so I used a towel to put it in some water. The only thing is I'm not sure if it's a water or land turtle. What do you guys think it is? View attachment 560 We didn't put a lot of water in this cooler we found because we didn't want to drown it just in case it was a land turtle. Here are some pictures of both let's see what you guys think. Is it a water one? Either way, the picture you posted of the actual turtle is kinda hard to tell. But from the looks of it, it's a water turtle. Either way, good call on not dumping it in a pool lol

I'm not much help, to be honest. My younger bro owned a water turtle a few years ago, but the really small ones that were easy to maintain. Yours looks kinda big already...

Regarding your turtle, take it into a pet shop and ask what kind it is and what you need to keep him healthy if you plan on keeping it. If you don't want to do that, set out a pool of water in your backyard or something. If it's a water turtle, he will naturally migrate to it. If you don't plan on keeping the turtle, do make sure he goes somewhere proper.
