Well I just about filled up my hard drive disk space for my desktop (about 60 GB left from a 500 Gb drive) So for the next few days ima be shopping around the Amazons and the Best Buys looking for another one. What I wanted to ask you guys if you all had any suggestions on what I should get, I did some searching on Amazon and most of the products listed were PORTABLE hard drives which I guess would be fine but I don't really want it to be taking up a USB port (I might have to just get a USB hub) but the HD is just gonna be for my desktop so it doesn't really need to be portable anyway. But do you guys have any suggestions or recommendations on what I should get? That'll be appreciated.

Keep in mind that's a green eco drive. I think they shut off after 5 or 10 mins of idle time. I don't think that will be an issue though since it would be a storage drive. Might take a big longer to access something when you first click it, i dk. Id also clean some room of your main drive. I've always liked Western digital myself.

That feature you can enable/disable. Also 5400rpm drives are only slower in read/write. Typically access time is the same. Still 60-70mb/s transfer rates. Laptop drives only get like 40-50mb/s transfer and people still use them just fine.
