my family owns a house in long beach in one of the yuppy suburban neighborhoods near the community college. Its pretty nice down there, but downtown L.A. is like america's anus. Disgusting place. Join the crips while you're down there. Slang some crack and cap some pigs. Or whatever it is gangsta's do.
