I wanted to avoid doing this. I originally chose not to make a post and to simply pm damage regarding my decision to drop /k/, because I did not feel that my time here warrented making it a big deal. I honestly figured nothing would be said about it. I keep to myself for the most part and try to just come and play cod.
However, after the 75th person has either insinuated or outright accused me of joing RE, I felt the need to clarify my decision. My reasons for leaving are threefold. One, I am somewhat of an activist, certain circles I run in would take offense at my association with a group with the tags you guys carry. I understand the satirical and sarcastic nature of the tags. Not everyone does. After careful thought I realized the chances of any of my friends coming across my cod tag is slim to none.
Secondly, You can absolutely call it a ragequit. I experienced a large amount of frustration on the servers that I love to play (the absolute only servers I play are kkk servers) due to an increased amount of...sketchy tactics in the past month. Ranging from blatent spawn camping to what I in my limited experience perceived to be wallhacking, these issues literally made me want to quit playing altogether.
(to clarify, anytime I mention a wallhacker, it is after at least 5 minutes of speccing the individual and watching wall traces, etc. I do understand that probably 80 percent of them are just...well either good or lucky. but the 20 percent ...enough to make me want to
strangle a kitten)
Last but not least, I had develeoped a dislike for a certain member of the KKK staff. I felt that rather than attach myself to the same group as he, I would drop recruit and just ignore the individual. Soon after, something he said in game irked me and I called him out. I shouldn't have. It was wrong, and I apologize. The issues that I have with this person basically have to do with his interaction with me , which I perceived to be patronizing. Truth of the matter is, this IS the internet and assuming someone's tone generally makes you look like a jackass. So at this point in time, I stand before you... a jackass.
I have NO intention of joining RE, or any other clan in cod. I play S1 and zombies.. exclusively on cod. I have no desire to play anywhere else So to the 75 people who believe I went to RE to play with stevo and ... dance..(really? i despise the guy), the current situation with re had no bearing on my decision to drop recruit. I simply wished to avoid creating drama. It seems I did anyway.
