Maybe it's me, but whenever i see a tv program that originates from the states and someone walks into a bar
and asks for a beer, the barman just gets on with it. If that were in the U.K., the barman would ask which one. We have easily over 100 beers here and more than one type. we have lager, bitter, stout, cider etc..i'm pretty sure that the states has more than the 2 or 3 that i know about. coors/coors light, budweiser etc...
so what's up with that then? And what is your favourite drink. My favourite type is ale (newcastle brown,spitfire, bishops finger, hobgoblin), my all time fave beer is newcastle brown, you can't go far wrong ith a bottle of it
