Ping is going up and down.(unstable)

On s1 it happens often at a certain time like nights.Mornings are perfect for some reason (179)Then on night it goes from 210 to 300 then to 400 IDK why?But on s2 its usually very stable unless I'm downloading stuff.I'm on mac firewall off.It always seems that when supermario joins my ping is popping up and when he leaves its dropping from 400 to 210.Any tips?I always turn close all apps when playing COD4:cool:
 
Yeah, me too. I guess it's when a lot of people in your area are using the same internet provider as you is what I was told.
 
Maybe cuz at those times, many Europeans and Asian gamers are on, with all their high pIng, you're surely gonna get higher ping.
 
Yea cent0, with all that extra ping floating around in the interwebs, you're sure to get slowed down!
