The Beatles

While only one of these musicians had any formal training (and still none could be argued to be really techinically or intellectually proficient musicians), these dudes knew how to write a friggin' tune! Ringo, in the right place at the right time, still laid the time down on some of the greatest tracks in history (in my opinion, of course), being necessarily so due to their lyrical content, their cultural impact, and their compositional elements (which i can discuss in detail, if necessary, but i will refrain, due to popular demand). It's just fun music!

What do you guys think? Feel free to post tracks and what not!

AVC's shout made me think of that. He referenced the U.S.S.R. , and I love this song. I also think Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is one of the greatest albums in history.

In fact, I could spend hours just spinnin' straight through Beatles records, as they just flow so well. The Beatles is one band where you can still finding the meaning in the term "Album" or "Record" in the modern world of music, where everyone gets music by the song.

An ingenius thing I would like to note. IN Sgt. Peppers, the beatles make use of a dinky-ass section of trombones (really dinky), the lyrics are archaic, yet the song remains badass and fresh to this day.

I really enjoy most of the Beatles's music. This is how I feel about you guys, not being the least bit fruity of course:
