Vote Option on S1

Ok, so now we have a vote option on Server 1 to get rid of the hacker, but this can get out of hand people were already trying to change the map and game type. So I think we should make it a rule that only |KKK|'s are allowed to vote, and maybe vote to kick other hackers and spawn campers maybe.

the mombot hack has a anti-vote feature i thought. not gonna work 99% sure. And yea lots of people were abusing it voting all the time other maps and stuff, is there a command to stop the current vote?

Yea, I thought this would create more problems than it solved.

We really need to get charges pressed against this guy. I see no other option. Can someone tell me why we should have to put up with his shit, anyway? We have more important things to be spending our energy on, like tweaking/fixing/maintaing our servers, recruiting people, staying on top of our involvement in gaming, and then there are our REAL lives. There is absolutely no reason we should have to put up with this freeloader's shit. What he needs is a vacation from CandyLand followed by an asswhoopin' followed by some real life consequences for his thoughtless, selfish actions.


If this problems continues at all, we should make every effort to completely destroy every chance that he can maintain his level of nuisance on our server. This may mean legal action or other similarly serious actions.

Whatever we do, we should DO it before this turns into a notably public event (like F8atlity) and the guy gets a bigger ego and a following. When there is a computer between you and the rest of the world, strange amounts of courage arise, and assholes can honestly believe the falsehoods of the selfish pettily ignorant life decisions they are making. We don't want that to happen. We just want this to go away. Let's get rid of it for good.

At this point, we're trying all possibilities to deter/stop the hacker. If it works out, then great, if it doesn't, it comes off.

And Nitroz, how are we going to even monitor who votes in 'em? :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

The voting was my idea. I underestimated how much people abuse it. Votes are being called non stop on s1 to kick ppl and change maps. I don't see any of the votes passing though. What % of passing votes need to be cast in order for the vote to be successful?

51% yes. When there are a lot of people in the server, it's kinda tough to get everyone to have the vote pass.

yea, but what if a player is owning everyone without using haxs? Defenitelly everyone will vote YES to kik him. I have seen this a lot in german SnD server. Each time somebody started owning and getting real good score he would get kiked out...

51%. Ok. I don't see much of a problem then, especially when the server has 20+ people. Yes a lot of votes were being called, but rarely did a vote even reach 10 total votes regardless of yes or no. When or if the hacker comes back we can test right then and there to see if the voting feature works or not.
