Alright folks, WaLLy has given us the OK to decide what to do with Server 3 and it looks like we have a vote on our hands! Lets dig right in.

#1 Killing floor
-Game style: Zombies/Sci-fi survival game
-Cost: 9.99 USD (ON SALE) http://store.steampowered.com/app/1250/
-Platform: Windows, Mac OS X

-Notes: If you like server 4 (ROTU), you will LOVE this game, it is 100 times more fun than server 4. It has a great selection of weapons, maps, and perks with a good level system. Does not get boring (at least for me and slaya it didn't). Well worth the 20 dollars, especially since most games out there around 60 bucks and only give you a day or two worth of fun.

#2 Team fortress 2
-Game style: Multiplayer class based casual shooter w/ a virtual game item system and online store
-Cost: Free
-Notes: This is a nice casual shooter, nothing hardcore like call of duty. More you play the more likely you are to get new items/weapons. Each class has it's own ups and downs which makes things more interesting. Honestly fun game overall.

Now honestly I can't decide which I want more, so I am leaving it up to you guys. The trailer I posted for Team fortress 2 isn't really showing gameplay, but it shows a few classes and how it looks. Both games are great and I hope you guys make the right decision!

I personally will vote for TF2. Why? Well the game is free (or was?) and I'm sure most of us ended up getting the game while it was free. So it'll be easier for our Krew Members/ Forum Members to jump on that game than spending the 20 bucks on getting Killing Floor and running the risk of them liking or hating the game. Either way, I'll be more than happy to switch to Killing Floor is the outcome ends up for KF.

Yea the game is still free. I am 99% sure that we won't have a single person hating killing floor. But either way I don't mind. Both games are fun. I know slaya didn't like team fortress but he LOVES killing floor. We play a lot of killing floor together.

Many of our members are kids and some may not be able to just purchase games. Also, like floggin said, he's already got that wonderful server. Why not have a TF2 server and use floggin's KF server?

2 reasons

1. Floggin's server isn't actually a KKK server. People would be more motivated to buy the game and play with us if we actually had a legit KKK server

2. Because you touch yourself at night.

I can remove the Tag, and if KKK players stand behind there bro's, they will follow the team no matter where they play. But the offer is/was more about to show KKK admins how a Server in KF is, how it works, and how playable it is. More or less with a 6 man server KKK and my friends can easily fill it from all over the world, properly allowing KKK admins to look into the options of teh KF Web admin/Console as well. with my experience in all game engines which I think I have hit them all, the UT03 Engine and Dedi server for KF retail, is probably one of the most complete web Admin interfaces around. Also is compatible to use UNReal servers with the same INI, in all MOD's and MOD's not yet released.

If you want I will remove teh NEO, no prob, if KKK Admins want a go at teh KF dedi, you have something to test. One thing is for sure Home Brew Servers in KF Dedi work better. Game Server Hosts are Capped and Dumb down the KF and many other Games, HomeBrew's Don't. Most of the home users can host a KF server making the gaming Cheap, you don't have to buy into anything unless you buy a PC to host. 6 Players 384 KB/s requirements. I can host a 6 man server Download and watch Netflicks with 512 upload. If your internet can't do allt hat then well Im sorry, but KKK could keep the commercial server your talking about retiring, and get more servers, hosted throughout the world by KKK members, for next to nothing. that would be the ideal Way. Span West Coast, East Coast Central US. UK, and Aussie for nothing more then a Few slots on personal IP's

About the KKK reputation, the Current gamers in KF have there Favorites list, and KKK is getting into the KF world late, WAY late. KLF beat out many games that had been out all year and was 2nd runner up for game of teh year, only being out 2 weeks. Personally I dont' think that KKK tags will actually make much of a HEY come here impression. Who knows though. I can say KF players have already established our favorites though. In the 2 Years I have been hosting, I have repeatidly hit the top 5% in a weeks time. I do refresh my stats, and My IP does change, which is why the server doesn't reflect it!


So anyway, the suggestion to use my server temorarily as I said from teh beginning, was to show KKK Admin without spending money how a KF server works, and what options it has

Seriously guys consider killing floor, for 9.99 you REALLY can't go wrong. I wish I had waited to buy it now, but oh well.
